Welcome to Rae Physiotherapy & Pilates, we’re glad you’re here!

  • Booking Tips for New Clients: When booking your first visit, please book 2-3 follow-up appointments around one week apart. This will help secure times that work for you and give us a good foundation for your care. We can always adjust the schedule after your initial appointment if needed.

  • Cancellation Policy: We kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full appointment fee. If you cannot make it in person, we are happy to change the appointment to an online appointment.

  • Waitlist: If you can’t find a session, please add yourself to the waitlist using our online booking system, and you’ll be emailed if a spot becomes available. Please remember to update your availability and extend the dates so you get the most accurate notifications.

  • Direct Billing Information: We submit to all major providers. Please note that we submit directly to one insurance provider per appointment. For any secondary coverage, we’ll provide you with a detailed receipt, which you can then easily submit for reimbursement. Thank you for your understanding! We continue to direct bill to all major providers

Born and raised in Inverness, Scotland, Kim moved to Vancouver in 2011 after training to become a physiotherapist in Glasgow. Since settling in Canada, Kim has continued her professional curiosity and growth with in-depth continuing education and development. Kim’s goal in opening her new Vancouver wellness studio, was to develop a practice where patients feel heard, supported and seen as a whole person rather than as a series of body parts to be treated separately.

“Honouring the recovery process is important to me. We are all individuals with our own movement story and history, the goal is to work as a team to work towards your health and recovery with full respect and awareness of your story. Working with a whole body approach offered me an opportunity to find control over my own body. It’s an on-going process of awareness but has opened my eyes to another way of approaching movement assessment and treatment that I personally felt immense relief, and for the first time, lasting results.

Jennifer has been a valued member of Rae Physiotherapy & Pilates for four years, blending advanced pelvic floor training, clinical Pilates, and IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation) into her whole-body approach. She’s currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physiotherapy, further deepening her clinical expertise.

After completing her Master’s in Physiotherapy in the UK, Jennifer returned home to BC, where she had previously earned her BSc in Biomedical Physiology at Simon Fraser University. Her work is grounded in the belief that the body works as an interconnected system—and lasting change often comes from exploring how different pieces influence one another.

Jennifer especially enjoys working with athletes and active individuals, using clinical Pilates to introduce new, more efficient movement patterns that support both performance and recovery. With a background in kinesiology and a deep understanding of exercise-based rehab, she combines movement and manual therapy to support clients in feeling strong, capable, and confident in their bodies.

Her approach is collaborative and patient-centered, meeting each client where they’re at—and helping them build from there!

EDUCATION: Registered Physiotherapist, advanced training in Pelvic Floor, pregnancy + postpartum support, Clinical Pilates, Intramuscular stimulation (IMS).
