Neil Jackson, MSc Sport Science
Strength & Movement Coach
Neil is a Strength & Movement Coach with more than 25 years of experience in strength and conditioning. He holds a Master’s degree in Sport Science and is the founder of PRML Method, an approach centred on strength, mobility, natural movement and helping people develop greater confidence and freedom in their bodies.
A former British amateur boxing champion, Neil’s background spans strength training, boxing, functional movement, mobility, barefoot training and animal-style movement. His sessions combine these elements in a way that is tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on building strength, improving movement options and developing physical confidence.
Neil works closely with the physiotherapy team at Rae Physiotherapy & Pilates, supporting clients as they move from rehabilitation into greater strength, capacity and independence. His coaching can be adapted for people returning from injury, building general strength and fitness, improving mobility, or simply wanting to feel more capable in their body.
His approach is practical, progressive and supportive, with sessions designed around the person in front of him rather than a one-size-fits-all programme.
Neil offers individual sessions as well as partner and parent/teen sessions.
Areas of focus include:
Strength & conditioning
Mobility and movement training
Natural and animal-style movement
Barefoot movement and foot strength
Boxing-based conditioning

Mahan is a physiotherapist with over 11 years of experience, with a background in sports physiotherapy and a strong interest in movement-based rehabilitation. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and her Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy at Iran University of Medical Sciences.
Her approach has evolved beyond traditional rehabilitation, shaped by a deep curiosity about how the body heals and adapts. This led her to India, where she completed intensive training in yoga and yoga therapy, expanding her understanding of breath, awareness, and the integration of physical and mental practices in recovery.
Mahan is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Manitoba, continuing to explore more comprehensive and integrative approaches to movement and rehabilitation.
She has additional training in Clinical Pilates through Calibrate, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy through Pelvic Health Solutions, and has recently completed the Hypermobility Solutions Course, further developing her knowledge and clinical approach to working with hypermobile clients.
Mahan takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to care, with a focus on helping people better understand their bodies, build capacity, and move with more confidence and control. Her whole-body approach allows her to consider strength, coordination, joint control, breathing and movement strategies together rather than looking at one area in isolation.
As part of the Rae team, Mahan is also mentored in hypermobility care and more complex presentations, helping to support a consistent approach across the clinic.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, yoga, strength training, and spending time outdoors.

Kim Rae Jackson is a Registered Physiotherapist with more than 15 years of experience treating people with hypermobility, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD), hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), and complex musculoskeletal presentations.
Originally from Inverness, Scotland, Kim completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in Glasgow before moving to Vancouver in 2011. Her clinical work has increasingly focused on understanding how hypermobility affects the body as a whole, rather than treating painful areas in isolation.
Kim’s approach centres on detailed whole-body assessment and clinical reasoning. She looks at how the feet, knees, hips, pelvis, ribcage, spine, shoulders and head work together, with particular attention to proprioception, movement strategy, joint control, strength, load tolerance, breathing, balance and the compensations that can develop when a hypermobile body is trying to create stability.
She works with people experiencing symptomatic hypermobility, recurrent pain or injury, joint instability and subluxations, proprioceptive challenges, difficulty building strength, pelvic health concerns, persistent pain, fatigue, exercise intolerance and other complex presentations commonly seen alongside HSD and hEDS.
Treatment may include orthopaedic physiotherapy, Connect Therapy™, Clinical Pilates, pelvic health physiotherapy, manual therapy, IMS/dry needling, progressive strengthening, proprioceptive retraining and movement retraining.
Kim founded Rae Physiotherapy & Pilates in Vancouver in 2020 and continues to see an in-person caseload while mentoring the Rae physiotherapy team in hypermobility assessment, clinical reasoning and rehabilitation.
Kim also lives with hEDS herself, which brings an additional layer of lived experience to her work and has deeply influenced the way she approaches movement, rehabilitation and long-term body awareness.
